Nadia

Today I’d like to talk about my beautiful and talented sister Nadia, whose name is marvelous, translating from Ukrainian as “hope”. Nadia started making wigs few years ago out of necessity - breast cancer history in our family. After realization that there aren't so many good options on the market either poorly done or super expensive, she decided to make some wigs to sell. Quality is outstanding. She uses only natural hair and the price is affordable, which is a big deal for low income countries without health insurance at all, like in Ukraine. Nadia is a professional, hard-working and patient sewer. As shown on the pictures each piece of hair is sewed by hand. She is a shy person, so it wasn’t easy for me to photograph her and get her permission to share this little story. Wig orders are coming, which sadly shows how severe are cancer numbers. But I know she is doing the right thing by helping women during such difficult times🤍
